Eurogypsum has joined forces with other leading organisations from Europe’s raw materials supply sector and proposed pragmatic solutions to improve the draft EU Nature Restoration Law and make restoration happen.
Nature protection and restoration are integral to the daily operations of the non-energy extractive sector, both during and after quarrying operations, in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
We are calling upon the European Parliament, the Council and the European Commission to take into account the features of our sector and our potential to support nature restoration when designing the final legislation, and to address the issues highlighted in our joint paper.
